Take a moment today to review our information security policies!
At a monthly briefing in 2013, President Benton asked us all to review the University information security policies. He said that keeping our data safe is a priority, in light of our past. The three University information security policies can be printed in about 5 pages or read in one sitting online. The appendices to the policies are more extensive, and are useful for reference in evaluating particular business processes.
IT is taking the lead in communicating and helping everyone remember to apply these policies. IT will be proposing a method to promote a biannual review of information security policies. The ideas are in discussion now; more on that as possibilities develop.
